  • Instrumental in establishment and early development of Nor-Gwyn Softball program in 1980s
  • Mentored many young girls to instill confidence and teach game skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork

  • President of Nor-Gwyn Baseball & Softball from 1997 to 2016 (19 years)
  • Served as Refreshment Stand Director
  • Served on committee to merge three youth baseball/softball organizations to form Nor-Gwyn Baseball & Softball in 1986
  • Served on fundraising committee that raised over $100,000 to install lights on two fields in 1989
  • Chaired Registration, Opening Day, Perky Baseball Team, and PA American Legion Baseball Region 2 Tournament Committees
  • Awarded President Emeritus Status upon retirement in 2016.
   
   Ken Constable - Inducted 2012
  • Served Nor-Gwyn from 1992 to 2022 (31 years)
  • Managed or coached 20 teams over a 15-year span at many levels of Nor-Gwyn Baseball and Softball, (T-Ball, Softball, Youth Baseball, Fall Baseball, Connie Mack Baseball and Senior Connie Mack Baseball).
  • Nor-Gwyn Youth Baseball Commissioner and Board Officer from 2000 to 2020 (21 years)

Instilled a culture within Nor-Gwyn Youth Baseball stressing inclusion, fun, sportsmanship, and learning for players of all skill levels over the need to win games.

  • Established the Machine-Pitch Pony Baseball League at Nor-Gwyn in 2006
  • Designed and championed the creation of T-Ball Stadium at the Nor-Gwyn Complex
  • Established replenishment of Sullivan Memorial Registration Hardship Fund as a way for teams to honor their coaches

  • President of Nor-Gwyn Baseball & Softball from 2016 to present (6 years)
  • Served as Co-Ed T-Ball League Commissioner from 2006 - 2016 (11 years)
  • Chaired 5K Run, Election, Team Photos, and Sponsorship Committees
  • Served on American Legion Baseball Region 2 Tournament and Audit Committees





   
  Kevin Manero - Inducted 2015
  • Served Nor-Gwyn from 1998 to 2006 (9 years)
  • Established a sense of pride, tradition, and excellence in the Nor Gwyn American Legion Baseball Program.
  • Evolved Nor-Gwyn among the elite of American Legion Baseball Programs - respected for quality and class.
  • Championed Nor-Gwyn's application & selection as host of two PA American Legion Regional Tournaments.
  • Gained notoriety for Nor-Gwyn as an ambassador of American Legion Baseball.
  • The youngest person ever inducted into the American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame (2012).

  John Clayton - Inducted 2019 
  • Served Nor-Gwyn from 1995 to present (27 years)
  • Managed or coached 28 Nor-Gwyn Baseball teams from 1995 to 2016 (21 years), resulting in 2 Bux-Mont Connie Mack Baseball League Champions and 4 Youth Baseball League Champions
  • Recipient of 2012 Larry Meyers Memorial Coach of the Year Award
  • Served as Board Officer & Director, Equipment Director, Field Director, Youth Baseball Umpire Manager, Youth Baseball Tournament Team Director, Assistant Commissioner of Youth Baseball
  • Responsible for numerous improvements to the Nor-Gwyn Complex facility
  • Developed the Nor-Gwyn Youth Baseball Coaching Building Blocks training manual.  Conducted numerous Youth Baseball Coaching Clinics emphasizing the following:

"Nor-Gwyn’s philosophy is to help players grow in spirit, mind and body.  As coaches, we will teach the fundamentals of baseball while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship and respect.  The things we teach our young players through our words and our actions go beyond the baseball field.  Learning how to grow and play baseball the right way now, physically and mentally, will help them in the future, both on and off the field. My hope is to show that hard work and attitude will always pay off.  We will set clear expectations so players will know the path they need to follow.”

  • Served Nor-Gwyn from 2000 to present (23 years).
  • Member of the Nor-Gwyn Board of Directors from 2004 to present (19years).
  • Nor-Gwyn Board Secretary from 2009-2010 (1 year).
  • Nor-Gwyn Board Treasurer from 2010-2021 (12 years).
  • Championed 2010 implementation of accounting software system to standardize and automate tasks of the Nor-Gwyn Treasurer.
  • Managed or coached 22 Nor-Gwyn Baseball teams from 2000 to 2013 (14 years) at all levels of the Nor-Gwyn Organization (T-Ball, Youth Baseball, and Bux-Mont Connie Mack Baseball).
  • Recipient of 2006 Larry Meyers Coach of the Year Award.
  • Organized Program's Annual Evening at a Minor League Ballpark Event (12 years).
  • Nor-Gwyn Youth Baseball Player Representative 2007-2008 (2 years).
  • Nor-Gwyn Youth Baseball Tournament Team Coordinator 2008 (1 year).  Served on the committee to reformat Tournament Team structure for the future.
 
 
 
Bob Hamlin - Inducted 2021
  • Served Nor-Gwyn from 2008 to present (15 years).
  • Member of the Nor-Gwyn Board of Directors from 2011-2015.
  • Nor-Gwyn Board Vice President from 2012-2015.
  • Nor-Gwyn Youth Baseball Tournament Team Program Director from 2009-2016. Architected and cultivated a significantly expanded program vision enabling exceptional baseball and friendship experiences for players and their families.
  • Managed or coached 10 Nor-Gwyn Baseball teams from 2009-2014 at many levels of the Nor-Gwyn Organization (Youth Baseball, Tournament Team Baseball, and Bux-Mont Connie Mack Baseball).
  • Co-founder of Annual Nor-Gwyn Wood Bat Classic Youth Baseball Tournament.
  • 2011 Recipient of the Greer Foundation's Tarvalsky-Price Youth Leadership Award for leading the Nor-Gwyn Youth Baseball 9U through 12U Tournament Team Programs and mentoring young baseball players to achieve their dreams.
  • Championed annual fundraising ideas such as the Beef & Beer and Golf Tournament.  Bob has been a tireless fundraiser and a dedicated advocate for the children of the program.



  

 Jim Rittenhouse - Inducted 2022
  • On June 14, 2022, surrounded by family, friends, former players, board members, and previous hall inductees at Hostelley Field, North Wales native Jim Rittenhouse accepted his Hall of Fame plaque.  Rittenhouse also received Pennsylvania Legislative Citations from State Representative Liz Hanbidge and State Senator Maria Collett (both D.-Montgomery).
  • In 1983, Rittenhouse was a T-ball player for Nor-Gwyn. He has been coaching baseball in the Youth League, Connie Mack and American Legion since 1996. He sits on the league board of directors and served as Field Director and Fall Baseball Commissioner.
  • Since 2016, Rittenhouse has served as the Youth Baseball Tournament Team Commissioner of the Nor-Gwyn organization. He established the "Angels In the Outfield” program to provide support for areas of interest to the program and its members in 2021.
  • Rittenhouse was awarded the Larry Meyers Coach of the Year Award in 2011.
