Ages for Pre-FUNdamentals!:  U3 (must have been 2 by 7/31/15)

We have put together this clinic by popular demand - mainly for those children who just missed the cutoff date for FUNdamentals!  We are very excited to serve this age group of eager new soccer players!

This entry level player program is designed to incorporate cutting-edge child development methodologies. We will be using professional coaches for this clinic, but parent volunteer coaches are highly welcomed and encouraged to be a part of the fun too! It is our intention that all of our coaches (especially our future coaches!) gain valuable skills that they can take forward in their own coaching careers, as they follow their young soccer players on their journey with the beautiful game!

The PRE-FUNdamentals! program is designed to help these young athletes develop coordination, balance, agility, and a love for being active. We will teach foundational soccer skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting, which all help to increase psychomotor skills. Using imaginative and creative games, the MUSC PRE-FUNdamentals! Coaching Staff will also be incorporating parent volunteers (yes, you may get to play some too!) to create a fun environment of exploration in soccer and movement.

PRE-FUNdamentals! starts on Monday, April 18, and the Spring session will run for 6 weeks.  

Start Time: 5:30 PM, session will end at 6:20 PM

Location: The MUSC Indoor Training Center (ITC), located in the Morgantown Industrial Park. (Directions below) We will be indoors, and out of the weather. (See Directions below)

Equipment:  Children should show up with shin guards, #3 soccer ball,  tennis shoes, indoor soccer shoes or cleats, and a water bottle or drink ready to participate.

Confirmation: You will not get a call from a Coach, so unless you hear differently, just plan to arrive at the ITC on Monday, April 18. Plan to be about 15' early the first day, just to get through the on-site registration process.

DIRECTIONS TO THE INDOOR TRAINING CENTER (ITC)
From Morgantown- cross the Westover Bridge, and turn left onto River Road at the end of the bridge. Go to the 4-way stop at the top of the hill and turn left onto DuPont Road, which takes you into the Morgantown Industrial Park. As you are going down the hill, there is a retaining wall on your right. At the bottom of the hill, just before the retaining wall ends, turn left onto N. Metro Drive (no sign up yet). Go about 200 yards, and turn left onto City View Drive (no sign up yet). We are the 2nd (and last) building on the left.

From Westover, turn onto DuPont Drive at the light next to United Bank. At the 4 way stop, go straight into the Morgantown Industrial Park. As you are going down the hill, there is a retaining wall on your right. At the bottom of the hill, just before the retaining wall ends, turn left onto N. Metro Drive (no sign up yet). Go about 200 yards, and turn left onto City View Drive (no sign up yet). We are the 2nd (and last) building on the left.
