The reason for this is that we are also trying to give our players an opportunity to participate in the Lake County Spring Recreational Tournament 2016 which is being held on Saturday, May 14th and Sunday, May 15th 2016 at Hickory Point Soccer Complex in Tavares Florida.

If you are interested in participating we are looking to take some teams out there.

There is a cost associated with the Spring Recreation Tournament.
   •To try out you must be a registered Active Spring player.
We will be holding tryouts at the Wildwood Soccer fields Saturday, April 23rd from 1:30 pm to approximately 3:00 pm for anyone in the U10 and U15 age bracket.

Based on interest we can then form teams per their respective age brackets. There is a limit to 9 players per team. Note: It will depend on the number of players and coaches that are interested in going that will determine if we have teams that can go out there and participate.

Currently Lake County Soccer club are allowing U6 thru U15 teams to par take in the tournament. 
We will require prior commitment of the players and parents by Wednesday April 27th 2016 if they can make both Saturday and Sunday (all day) and payment for the tournament. The cost per player would be $30 which includes registration, tournament t-shirt and medals (and tournament trophies for the winners). 
*Transportation will be the players and parents responsibility to get to Tavares and back home.

Last year Sumter County had 6 teams place 1st and we where very proud to have such great representation for Sumter County Soccer to show case our talented players and simply having a fun weekend.
