2018 Adult

Summer Adult Soccer Programs


You must turn the required age by the end of the calendar year to be eligible for that division.  For example, if you turn 30 on December 31, 2018, you can play in the 30+ division in the 2018 season.
*The exception is for 18 year old players - you must actually be 18 years of age to play in a game.  If you turn 18 on July 7, 2018, you cannot play in a game until July 7, 2018, or later. (If you turn 18 during the season, and want to play earlier, please send an email to requesting an exception)

Women must be 18+ to play in any division; there are no other age requirements for women.

Games will start the week of May 14, 2018 for teams that have minimum of 12 players registered by May 7, 2018.  All leagues and teams will begin scheduled play by May 21. Any teams with less than 11 players will not be added to game schedules.

CAPTAINS: All captains who complete a team registration of minimum 13 players by May 1, 2018, will receive a FREE MUSC white, dry-fit, long sleeve T-shirt.  Select your size when completing your captain information (under volunteer), and be sure to get your team (min 13 players)registered by May 1!

Matches can only be cancelled by weather - all matches must be played on the date scheduled. Team captains can communicate with the league to reschedule matches after the schedule is released. League requires 72 hour advance notice for rescheduling or it is considered a forfeit (late-cancel). 

Teams can play with a minimum of 9 players.  Forfeited or late-cancelled matches will not be made up for the team forfeiting, but the team who was forfeited on will be given a chance to play a friendly against another team in good standing.

If a team forfeits or late-cancels 2 matches during the season the team may be disbanded by the league, and players reallocated to other teams. If the team is not disbanded by the league, the team will be ineligible for the end of season tournament.

Make up games will be played during the designated built-in make-up weeks. If both teams agree and receive league approval they may play a makeup game during a Friday, Saturday or Sunday prior to the designated built-in make-up weeks in July. If a team no-shows or late-cancels more than once they will be ineligible for playoffs.

All teams must have matching uniforms and each team member must have a unique number that is assigned to them on Blue Sombrero. If you would like assistance setting up a team account for ordering uniforms through please contact


- Early-Bird Registration :: There is an early-bird $20 discount off your first registrations for those who complete registration by April 1, 2018.  This discount may not be combined with the Coach/Academy Manager discount. To receive the Early-Bird Registration discount use:

- Coach/Academy Manager :: MUSC youth coaches (rec & academy) and academy managers will also receive a 50% discount for their first division registration.  Please send an email to to request your coupon code - in your email please identify for which division(s) you are registering to receive the appropriate coupon code. Please note that you must have completed the Risk Management training and be registered in the MUSC Risk Management system (all coaches and managers should have already completed this) to qualify for the coach discount.

- Multiple Division :: You will receive a multiple-division discount of $40 that will be applied to each division after the first.

Financial Assistance - 
MUSC does not want financial reasons to limit anyone's ability to play. There are scholarships and assistance available for those with a need. Please contact for more information.

Refund Policy - 
Within 24 hours of registration you can cancel and receive a full refund.
- After 24 hours If a member seeks a refund before the beginning of their first match, a refund of original charges minus a $25 processing fee will be given.
- Players may seek a 50% refund if they experience an unmanageable season ending circumstance (e.g. season ending injury or relocation) prior to June 15, 2018. You must contact the league at prior to June 24, 2018 to be considered for a refund. NO REFUNDS will be given to players who participate in any matches after June 15, 2018.

Payment Plans - If you select a payment plan, full payment is due no later than July 1, 2018. If you have not made written arrangements with the club or full payment by July 1, 2018 you will be removed from the roster and the team captain will be notified. If a member who is delinquent for payment plays in a match the match will become an automatic forfeit.
