Assist TFA

Ways to Support TFA

1.       Do you or someone you know own a business that is looking for a little more exposure?
2.       Are you looking to make a charitable contribution for this year's tax returns?
3.       Do you and your family or friends shop at Kroger?

If you can answer yes to any of these questions, we ask that you take a moment to read the information below on various avenues of supporting TFA.  As a reminder, TFA is a non-profit organization with a 501(c)3 status.
·         TFA has had over 8,000 website page views with over 1,300 users from the start of the fall season (August) to the present date.
·         TFA has approximately 1,500 followers through TFA’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and our YouTube channel combined.
·         TFA’s Weekly Newsletter is emailed to over 1,000 recipients.
·         In addition, TFA recognizes all sponsors throughout our social media, the TFA website and the TFA Weekly Newsletter (above).

HOW THE FUNDS ARE USED:
All donations to TFA are tax-deductible; please speak with your tax advisor regarding the specifics.  Below are the areas TFA will currently be directing any donations received.

1.      FIELD DEVELOPMENT: With the move to Schneider Fields as our TFA outdoor home, we have been identifying ways to improve the fields and surrounding areas.  This fall, and then again in the spring of 2017, we will be fertilizing, aerating and re-seeding all fields, as well as spraying and weeding surrounding areas.  We would like to increase these applications to bring Schneider Fields to a level that our players can see their technical development on a true, flat area, just like the pros!
2.      COACHING EDUCATION: Vince Laverick, Coaching Education Director for TFA, continues to evaluate our staff/coaches at both practices and games while further educating and assisting them for future licenses.  This continuing education further develops our already knowledgeable and licensed coaches, thus providing continued development to your son/s.
3.      SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING: Every year, TFA scholarships a percentage of our players based on financial need.  Donations are used to maximize the help we can offer. At TFA, we strive to allow every passionate soccer player to participate in this beautiful game.
4.       TOPSOCCER: As our TOPSoccer Program continues to grow in its second year, our financial support continues to escalate due to needing more equipment, larger facilities, etc.  Our goal from the outset was to provide a financially ‘free’ program to allow our players and families the opportunity to play for free.

Ultimately, our Managing Director, Staff and Parent Advisory Committee are constantly evaluating the needs of the Club and will make necessary adjustments to the list above as needed. However, we want to assure you that at no time are donations used for staff salaries or other direct operational costs (i.e. registration fees, tournament fees, etc.).
Please take the time to consider if any of the below avenues of giving are of interest to you.  As always, we would welcome any questions you may have.  We thank you in advance for your generosity!

GOAL SPONSORSHIP:
A unique possibility has come about now that we are utilizing Schneider Fields as our home facility.  We are now offering local businesses and organizations the opportunity to advertise on the nets of our new TFA goals.  We host approximately 50 games every Fall season and nearly 75 for the Spring season! This includes clubs locally (in and around NW Ohio and southern Michigan), statewide and regionally (Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana) due to participating in the Midwest Regional League, State League and Northwest Ohio Youth Soccer League.
You can hit the ‘back of the net’ with your goal sponsorship!
·       Cost: $500 per goal, plus cost of banner (approx. $150)
·       Description: 4’ x ‘6 banner on the back of the net (facing the field)
·       Time Frame: Spring and Fall of 2017

WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA SPONSORSHIP:
TFA offers local businesses and organizations the opportunity to advertise on our website and social media. Our club is ever growing and we not only have a strong presence on the field locally and regionally, but we are involved in off-field events that bring unique traffic to our site and social media outlets. This is an excellent opportunity for businesses to sustain clientele and expand into new frontiers.
TFA represents strong character, developing well-rounded individuals and achieving excellence in all arenas of life. We are very excited to create partnerships with like-minded businesses and organizations!
·       Cost: $250 per season or $750 for entire year (10% discount for entire year sponsorship when paid in full at time of subscription)
·       Description: Sponsorship block that will scroll across the bottom of our site for the number of seasons you choose
·       Time Frame: Fall 8/1 – 11/30; Winter 12/1 – 3/31; Spring 4/1 – 7/30; or entire year

Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number related to their registered Kroger Plus card when shopping for each purchase to count.

CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS:
Another method of supporting TFA is through a monetary contribution which is tax deductible.   Whether you are planning for this tax year or next, please consider TFA as one of your non-profits of choice.    TFA will send out a confirmation of this contribution that you can utilize to prepare your tax return.  A donation may be designated for a particular fund; any amount would be both meaningful and well-appreciated.
TFA primarily is supported through the tuition fees paid by families, and is supplemented through additional donations and fundraising efforts. As the club moves forward, we hope families in a position to provide further support will consider making a contribution to help us continue our growth.
Please feel free to forward this information on to any local area businesses you think would be interested in one of the opportunities above.  Thank you for your continued support!

We continue to be thankful for the outstanding commitment and support from all our TFA families. It is because of you that we are as successful, both on and off the field, as we are today!

If you would like to assist with TFA, please feel free to do so by clicking the PayPal link below. TFA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, therefore any donation made can be used as a tax deduction.
