Fall 2016 Soccer Registration Sign Up Details

Hi AYSO Region 405 players!

Our primary registration event for next season occurs early in the year (during the Spring season of the current year) to provide sufficient time to determine the number of players, recruit the necessary number of volunteer coaches, organize teams and order uniforms.  Players may sign-up at any time but may be placed on a waiting list if there isn’t space available on a team.  So, you’re encouraged to sign-up early by attending our registration event.

Fall Registration

  • Time:  6:00-8:00 PM (May 8) & 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (May 9)

Season Information

Region 405 follows the AYSO national cycle which starts August 1st and ends July 31st. We provide two seasons of soccer which run during the registration cycle. The first season is in the fall with games played September through October. The second season is in the spring with games played April through June. The one fee of $70 per player covers both seasons. There is a $20 early registration discount for those registering early. A player will receive a game jersey and matching pair of socks. It is the responsibility of the player to furnish shin guards, as they are mandatory for both games and practices. A minimum of 7 games per season is scheduled.

For U05 through U12, teams are formed in the fall and those teams continue play in the spring season. U05 through U12 play a local schedule. Games are played at Lee Town Park or Stokes School on Saturday mornings and early afternoon. The first set of games will typically start at 9 AM.

For U14 and above, teams play an area schedule and therefore teams are formed in accordance with the rest of the area. While an attempt is made each fall to create U14 and above leagues, typically these teams only play in the spring. Approximately half of the games are played at Lee Town Park, while the other half of the games are played at neighboring regions within Oneida County. Games are played on Sunday and start at 1, 3, and 5 PM.

A player's AYSO age for the registration cycle is determined by their age on August 1st. For children under 5 years of age, they must be 4 years old before the first game of that season (either fall or spring). Players are grouped into divisions based on their AYSO age. Click here to view the age bracket table for the current registration cycle.

Parents, we need you too!

AYSO is an all volunteer organization.  Without you there is no AYSO.  Go to eAYSO.org and click on I am a New Volunteer or I am a Returning Volunteer.  There are so many ways to volunteer.  Referee, Coach, Assistant Coach, Board Member, etc.  Thank you so much for volunteering.
