Winds of Change

PCAS League was at the Annual General Meeting for Florida State Soccer Association (FSSA) this past weekend in Orlando FL. As you all know, soccer is growing across the country and we have witnessed the growth within our area. We have decided to enforce our affiliation with FSSA, also with the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA). We have designed a brand new interactive website and will provide insurance for our players. Our games will now be sanctioned and we will be able to promote and host regional tournaments. As you all know, with growth comes pain. Not every player will be receptive to the vision of growth we have for PC and the PC Beach areas. We anticipate a drop in registrations but we are confident that once our players see the new level of organization and the benefits we have to offer, they will understand that the change is needed and we must move forward with our soccer movement. Other communities such Pensacola, Tallahassee and Jacksonville have already been using the player passes and insurance coverage for their players, we are just trying to catch up to them so we can join them and receive them in our hometown for friendly competitions. We are very excited about the new image, format and the opportunities that PCAS is working on for our community and vicinity. We welcome you to join us in the future seasons and reap the benefits we have to offer.
