10U All Stars Are Champions Again!

Syracuse, N.Y. - The West End PBA/Sherman Park 10U Little League team won its second straight District 8 championship on Saturday, dropping Crown City 15-2 in the title game. The tournament was held at Eastwood Little League's Cummings Park in Syracuse.West End PBA earned the chance at a repeat by escaping Cicero 11-10 in the semifinals on Friday night. Crown City advanced to the championship game by edging Baldwinsville 8-7.

Five members of this year's title-winning squad were part of the championship roster last summer as well. They are Joe Perez, Michael Masterpole, Calvin Atkinson, Kaz Keech, and Colin Murphy (names in orange are Sherman Park players).

The rest of the roster includes Liam Kisselstein, Joevany Alvarez, Ryan Wolfram, Charlie Henesey, Quinn Wimer, Joel Alvarez, Jack Henesey, and Conor Leuschke. The team is coached by manager Kevin Murphy and assistants Joe Atkinson and Marty Masterpole.
