The New Jersey Icedogs Hockey Club was formed 25 years ago with teams at the Squirt, Peewee, Bantam and Midget Level. Our founders created the program so that families could enjoy travel level play, with a more sensible cost and commitment.  

Our model works. Year after year we enjoy regular success against the top programs in the tri-state area and our players are top, multi-sport, scholar athletes.

We typically offer one 90 minute practice per week and one to two games per weekend. Our teams will play in the Hudson Valley Hockey League. In addition to the league games we play a minimum of 16 “Plus” non-league games. Plus games provide hand-picked competition and challenge our individual teams to compete at the most appropriate competitive levels.  

Our Mites, Squirt, Peewee and Bantams teams will play in a minimum of two tournaments per season, for which the entry fees are included in the yearly tuition. Our Midget Teams will play a competitive schedule in a short season format with 10+ practices and 10+ games with an emphasis on High School Preparation. Midgets will have the option of playing an extended season.

Our home ice is the Ice House in Hackensack NJ.
