For each team, either the head coach or assistant coach must get their NYSCA Membership.  The cost is $20.00.  When you are finished with the brief test it will give you a membership ID.  Please email that to [email protected] and we will reimburse you your $20.00.  Some of you may only need to renew your membership.  

2) Concussion Training (Required for All Coaches and Assistants)
All coaches and assistants must  complete the free Concussion Training.  Concussion training can be found on the NYSCA's website as part of your membership (one coach per team must be NYSCA certified.)  However, the non-NYSCA coach and any interested parents can find free online concussion training through the National Federation of State High School Associations Concussion in Sports, or through the Center for Disease Control and their Prevention Heads Up Concussion in Youth Sports. Coaches: please email your certifications to [email protected].


While Bullying Prevention Training and Protecting Against Abuse Training are not required, these online courses are available and recommended.

3) Background Check Form (Required for All Coaches and Assistants)
All coaches and assistants must fill out a volunteer background check form.  After you have filled it out please scan and email it back to [email protected].
