Skills Evaluation

The HLLA Skills Evaluation occurs annually in February, preceding the league drafts, to assess the skill levels of players in Farm division and above. Each participant will undergo a workout session with coaches, where they are evaluated on running, fielding, and batting. The scores obtained play a crucial role in the draft process, ensuring that teams are formed with a balanced distribution of talent.

When attending the skills evaluation, your child only needs to bring a glove and sneakers; bats are optional. The entire process typically takes less than 30 minutes. Participation is strongly encouraged.
