Volunteers Needed for Additional Field Work Day

Saturday March 25th was a successful work day out at Big Walnut. We were able to prepare field #2 for new fence toppers, drag the diamonds, and begin concession stand preparations for the upcoming season. With this great start, Greencastle Youth Softball Association is looking for volunteers for a second work day to continue the work from day #1. These activities should include installation of fence toppers, general cleaning around outfield fences, and continued concession stand preparation.

When and Where

Volunteers will meet at Big Walnut Sports Park at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday April 1st. This is a great opportunity to get to know the parents, coaches, and players that make up the Greencastle Youth Softball Association as well as help to ensure everyone has a great experience to start the season.

Greencastle Youth Softball Association is a non-profit, volunteer run organization located in Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana. Diamonds are located east of Greencastle at the Big Walnut Sports Park. GYSA offers both Fastpitch and Slow Pitch recreation softball for girls ages 4-20 each spring.
