Youth Art Class
Personalized Art Instruction for children ages 4 to 13.
Thursdays 4:30pm to 5:30pm & 5:45pm to 6:45pm
(Class meets one hour each week. Two hour class available by registering for both classes.)
Tuition (monthly): $60*
There are no sessions. All classes are on-going and you may start your child's class at any time.

New Freedom Art offers year round art programs designed to
inspire creativity, encourage individual expression, and enrich lives.
Classes are designed to meet the needs of beginner and intermediate students age 4 to 13 years old. Materials, art concepts and techniques are carefully selected according to the age and ability of the student. Students work in a variety of mediums including charcoal, pastel, graphite, watercolor, and acrylics. We teach students the use of proper shape and proportion along with compositional skills. Students are encouraged to explore the use of color, style and individual expression.
Students will advance and learn how to compose and begin a painting, mix colors, use brushes and discover the creative and technical versatility of acrylic painting. This includes experimentation with acrylic techniques as well as composition, color mixing and layering, color harmony, design and brush technique.
Lessons are taught in a fun, creative environment that encourages students to enjoy the process of creating unique art. Our program encourages individual expression while teaching new skills, ideas and techniques.
