Michael has 20 years of youth coaching experience and enjoys working with players of all ages, levels, and genders. He possesses the USSF A license, NSCAA premier diploma, USSF national youth license, NSCAA youth diploma.  Before joining Broomfield SC Michael was the Director of the US Soccer Development Academy for Loudoun Soccer in Northern, VA , the State Technical Director for the state of Alaska and is currently the Technical Director of Wasilla Youth Soccer and Valley Revolution in Wasilla, AK.

Michael has 8 years of professional playing experience and was a Major League Soccer champion in 2000 with Sporting Kansas City formally known as the Kansas City Wizards. He was fortunate enough to have an extended Training loan with Bayer Leverkusen in 1999-2000. While in College at the University of Virginia he was an ACC champion, NCAA division 1 national finalist and ranks third in minutes played in a season at the University.
