2015 Ghouls and Goals Tournament Check In

TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN   You have 3 options for checking in your team:

1.    The first option is a Friday morning check-in, October 23rd, at the Livermore Fusion Soccer Club Headquarters:

Check-in will be available from 10am-1pm.  We are hoping that this option, especially for local teams, will be well-received, as it is probably the least congested time to travel to Livermore.

2.  The second option is a Friday evening check-in, October 23rd, also at the Fusion headquarters in Livermore.  This check-in will be available from 6-9pm.  We highly recommend one of these Friday check-in times, as Saturday morning check-in can be quite chaotic and time-consuming.

3.   Your third option is on Saturday morning, October 24th  between 6:30am-1pm at the Fusion headquarters.  Check-in must be at least 2 hours before your first game.  Depending on how many teams choose this option, the lines could be long, so please plan accordingly.  Please check the website under Manager's Check List and be prepared for check-in.  

Players do not need to be at any of these check-ins; they will be checked-in at the field by the referees prior to each game.

Documents required for Tournament Check-In:

·     Laminated Player Passes: All participating teams will be required to present each player’s pass-card.  These will be check against the team roster on Got Soccer.  Passes must be issued by a US soccer organization, such as US Club or CYSA.  All passes must be current.  No expired passes will be accepted. (U8 will not need passes but instead will need to show a copy of birth certificate or passport for each player).

·     Team Roster: Please provide 2 copies at Check-in. Either US Club Roster or CYSA Golden Rod rosters will be accepted.  We will be comparing your roster with your passes and the roster you enter on Got Soccer, so please make sure all 3 match. (U8 will not need this).

·      Completed and signed player medical release forms. If you are not a US Club team, you will need to provide us with your own affiliates’ insurance.  In addition, you will need to register as a tournament team with US Club Soccer or obtain tournament insurance from US Club Soccer, pursuant of US Club Soccer Policies. This must be presented at check-in.

Have all guest player paperwork filled out and signed. For each guest player, the team must present a valid US Club player loan form, their current laminated player pass, and a completed, signed player medical release form.

 It is imperative that your online Got Soccer Roster for this event lists all players you would like to play in the tournament, and that you have a player pass and medical release for each of them.  We will be using a printout from Got Soccer at check in to match your documents to.  If a player is not listed in Got Soccer under this event, they will not appear on the game cards for the games and will not be able to play.

TEAM CHECK-IN -In addition to being checked at the Tournament Check-in, all player passes will be checked against the players at least 30 minutes prior to each match at the field by the field marshall. Please go to the field marshall tent at least 30 minutes before each game with your players and have the player passes ready.  You will need to go back to the field marshall to collect your passes after each game. (U8 will not need documents or cards but must go to tent to be checked in before game).

The referees will already have the game cards at each game.  The referees will keep the game cards after the game.

GUEST PLAYERS. Guest players will be allowed on any team attending the tournament to a total of 15 tournament players (10 for U8). All guest players must have the proper credentials. Maximum number of guests allowed: 3 (three). Maximum players that may dress for any game is 15 (9 players for U8).

  • Check website for date, time, and location of Team Check-in and make sure you have all the paperwork/credentials in order.
  • Information posted on the Tournament website is the final information for all rules, regulations, and tournament guidelines.
  • Check-in is mandatory so please make sure that one representative from your team plans their travel accordingly.
  • Players do not need to attend the registration check-in; they need only be present for check-in at field prior to game.
