High Performance Development (HPD)

UFA - High Performance Development (HPD)

The first program of its kind in Georgia, High Performance Development is designed to bridge the gap between the technical / tactical journey and the physical journey for all soccer athletes and coaches.

Under the UFA banner, this comprehensive long term Soccer athlete development framework is woven into the fabric of the entire girls and boys program at every level.  The physical preparation delivery is designed to seamlessly link sport science strategies into the overall soccer program to improve performance and reduce the risk of injury.

Central to HPD is education – understanding ‘how’ and ‘why’ these systems improve soccer performance is critical to their consistent application and improved results.

Pillars of Performance:

·       Integration of athletic development, strength training and performance conditioning in soccer
·       Injury prevention strategies
·       Recovery methods
·       Education
·       Adolescent strength & conditioning - Long Term Athlete Development
·       Athletic, functional, fitness testing and screening for long term soccer athlete development

I look forward to working with players and staff at UFA.
