Youth Fall Sports Progams

Registration opens in mid-May before the end of school

Soccer

  • Offered to Boy and Girls from U4 to U13 and is offered through either the Parochial Athletic Association (PAA) or ESCRA.
  • Team size is dependent on which age group and league the student play in.
  • U4 and U5 are co-ed, while older students are separated by gender. Girls can play in the Boys league if there aren't enough players for a team.
  • All events are match play between 2 schools at area soccer fields.
  • Players must know the rules and play by the rules. Parents are allowed and encouraged to watch, but may not coach players during events.


Cross Country

  • Offered to Boy and Girls in grades 2 – 8 only and is offered as a competitive sport through the Parochial Athletic Association (PAA).
  • We compete on an individual basis
  • Boys and Girls run separate races.
  • Meets are every Monday (as of 2017 season) beginning in late August or early September. Start time is at 5:00 pm unless noted before the event.
  • Most events are held at Shelby Farm unless a participating school is willing to host an event at their course.
  • Event results are posted on the TN Runner (tn.milesplit.com) website.


Volleyball

  • Offered to Girls only in grades 5 – 8 only and is offered as a competitive sport through the Parochial Athletic Association (PAA).
  • Grades 5 & 6 participate on one combined team and Grades 7 & 8 participate on one combined team.
  • Games are held on weeknights and weekends at participating school gyms in the Memphis area. Admission fees are charged to spectators.
  • All participants are NOT required to play a minimum of 50% of each game. This is noted as a competitive program.
  • There is an end of season tournament.

Flag Football

  • Offered to Boys only from U8 to U13 only and is offered through either the Parochial Athletic Association (PAA) or ESCRA.
  • Games are held on weeknights and weekends at participating school gyms in the Memphis area.
  • All participants are required to play a minimum of 50% of each game.
