Reds Opening Day
Great first game, as it was back and forth the whole game with the Nationals pulling it out in the last inning.
A combination of three pitchers were utilized (Aidan, Christopher, and Emma) all showing promise and great potential. Aidan pitched the first three innings and did a great job, and then Christopher came into his 1st minor 2 game and struck out and all-star on his first three pitches, not too shabby for a 1st time pitcher. Emma came on in relief and finished off the inning, also in her 1st year in minor 2 and 1st time pitching. They were caught by Matty and Dakota who also did a great job. 2nd base was handled very well by Colin, who made three great plays resulting in getting two outs, and on one play nearly made an unassisted double play. There were no base running mistakes, as everyone ran the bases well. I can say the Reds coaches and parents were proud of their players.
