About our Club

Welcome to the Florence Township Recreation Department. Recreation programs have for many years been a way for children to not only learn the fundamentals of sports, but also as a means to build friendships that extend beyond the sports fields. The recreation years provide children some of their first opportunities to take part in organized activities. They learn about sportsmanship & teamwork and are coached by devoted volunteers in each program.

In order to volunteer to be a recreation coach, a background check must be completed. Additionally, we require that all active coaches complete a concussion and head injury certification each year.

Please view the various tabs found within this page and check back often as updates are made often. If you should have any questions regarding the recreation programs, please contact the individual league or the Florence Township Recreation Department any time.
