With these commitments, Iowa Rush has helped nearly 100 athletes reach the next level of competition—including several now playing in three of the Power Five Division 1conferences.
“We are extremely proud of the hard work and commitment these players have put in throughout their time at the Iowa Rush to reach their individual goals”, says Greg Hennelly, director of coaching. “We are looking forward to following these players as they continue their soccer careers at the collegiate level and know they will be strong contributors at each of their respective programs. Most importantly, we are proud of not only the soccer players they have developed into, but the young men and women they have become off the field as they make their next step in their journey of life. We wish them nothing but the best!”
Iowa Rush offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of players and families of all ages, abilities and interest. This includes introductory clinics for children as young as three all the way up to elite competition.
“Congratulations to the players graduating out of the Iowa Rush Soccer Club and entering play at the collegiate level next fall,” said Paul Fabry, executive director and technical director of Iowa Rush. “Through their lifetime of dedication putting countless hours into honing their game through team training, games and personal workouts in their backyards, they have pushed themselves to become the best. They and their parents should be proud of their efforts and the Iowa Rush is extremely proud to have been home to their development as soccer players and citizens. These players represent fully the core values our club strives for and they lead as an example of what is possible while chasing personal goals for all who follow in the years to come. We wish them the best of luck and know they will always have a Rush “R” in their hearts as they wear the jersey of their university… representing both with great dignity and pride".
