2018 Bat Standards Now that you have registered, it's time to dust off last year’s gear only to find out your little leaguer has suddenly outgrown all their old equipment. Before you go out and buy a new bat, Norwalk Little League would like to remind you that effective January 1, 2018, all bats must follow the NEW 2018 USA Bat standards.

The USA BAT standards are designed to improve competition and safety. All bats for the Majors, AAA, AA & A divisions must carry the USA Bat mark and may not exceed the maximum barrel size of 2 ⅝ inches. The standard also applies to multi-piece wood bats but does not apply to single piece wood bats.

For additional information about purchasing a new bat and the new standards check out the News section of the Norwalk Little League Website or go to the Little League Baseball Bat Information page. You can also visit usabat.com for a complete list of bats approved through the USABat Standard.
