Presidents and Coaching Directors,
We will be offering a FREE u6/u8 and u10/u12 Youth Module clinic in the Southern District! It will be held on March 15 beginning at 1pm at the Biloxi Sports Complex. With it being centrally located and easy access to I-10, I thought this would be the best location to have this unprecedented event.
Please share this information with ALL of your coaches. The fee is normally $16 for the u6/u8 and $35 for the u10/u12 modules. Remember, all coaches must have the appropriate age license to participate in the district tournament to be held at SMSC on April 18/19 or other state tournament (Kohl's, President's and State Cup).
Attached you will find a document that shows your coaches how to sign up for the online portion of the course. When completed, print the certificates and bring to the field session. When registering for the clinic, they will see a block that says "promotional code", enter FREE77 for the u6/u8 or FREE99 for the u10/u12 portions. For those coaches that want/need to have their E license (u14 and above). That class will be held the weekend of April 10-12 at the Gulfport Sportsplex. The U.S. Soccer "D" license web page has been updated. Starting today, it is recommended that you direct all "D" license candidates and your instructional staff to http://www.ussoccer.com/coaches/licenses/national-d.aspx. Located on this page you will find U.S. Soccer’s curriculum, "D" candidate guidebook, concussion awareness assignment and other resources.
In addition to these resources, there is a coaching candidate course survey. The short survey, similar to the "E" license survey, provides us with valuable customer feedback.

E Course Pre-Course Candidate Assignments: Candidates are required to complete three (3) pre-course assignments.

3) Click on Take an e-Coaching Course if you have not taken a clinic before with MSA. If you have and forgot your email email: [email protected] and Terry will email you your password. If you are not sure if you have a password or not just click the link below.
4) Select U10/U12 or U6/8 clinic based on the age group your coach. Use the Free Code given to you by your club or pay with your credit card. Use the TAB button to move to the end of the form. This will allow you to complete the online portion of the course.
5) After have submitted your completed form. Please go back and log-in with your password that was emailed to you (page 3 above), - if your password is not emailed to you after a few hours then email me. log back in with your password and email to take the online test.
6.) Print out the certificate of completion.
7.) Then you can log back in to select the particular field session that you will be attending. Please e-mail or call me when you are done – or if you have question(s). [email protected]
