NATIONAL TEAM EXPERIENCE: Weber is a member of the USA U-20 Women’s National team; Weber captured the U20 Women’s CONCACAF Championship in January after defeating Mexico 4-0 in the title match. The Penn State sophomore netted three goals in the tournament for the Americans, two vs. Guatemala and one in the semifinal match vs. Trinidad & Tobago. She had an assist in the Championship game versus Mexico. The U-20 team now prepares of the World Cup this coming August.
College – Weber plays for Penn State, during 2013 she started all 23 games scoring 8 goals and adding 8 assists totaling in 24 points with 2 game winners. She was named to the All Big Ten First team and ranked nationally in the top 50 women’s college players.
In 2012, she was named to the 2012 All Big Ten Freshman Team. Also during 2012, she recorded 13 goals, including five game-winners, and four assists for 30 points ... Played and started in 26 games ... Netted a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in the season-opener against then-No. 7 Virginia (8/17) to earn her first Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor (8/20) ... Posted goals against then-No. 1 Stanford (8/24), Central Michigan (8/26), BYU ( 9/8), Nebraska (10/12), Michigan State (10/19) and had a pair against Boston College (11/16) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament ... Tallied a goal against Illinois (9/23) and an assist against Northwestern (9/21), earning Big Ten Freshman of the Week (9/24) ... Recorded two goals against Indiana (10/7), including the game-winner, to earn her third Big Ten Freshman of the Week (10/8) accolade ... Netted the game-winning goal against Purdue (10/26), earning Big Ten Freshman of the Week (10/29) honors ... Registered assists against Ohio State (9/27), LIU Brooklyn (11/10) in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament and Florida State (11/30) in the National Semifinal game.
