COACHING INFORMATION

In accordance with our parent affiliations, US Soccer and Eastern NY Youth Soccer, coaches must undergo specific training in order to coach for the Chenango Chargers. All of our coaches must have the following license or training:

US Youth Soccer Grassroots License:
 US Soccer developed the  grassroots license training module in 2017 and is intended to provide youth soccer coaches on training on how to structure better practices and coach our young soccer players. The grassroots license is intended to replace the F and E courses. Coaches are required to take an online course and a 4-hour in person course taught by 
Risk Management:
All of our coaches undergo a simple background check to ensure the safety of all participants.
Concussion Awareness Training & Sexual Abuse Training.
