U10 Girls Could Not be Stopped!

The U10 girls battled all season long in a very strong division and were rewarded with the regular season and playoff championships.

Game one of the day kicked off at 8 A.M. and the girls were ready for it. They came out and dominated the game from start to finish while playing their possession style of soccer. The final whistle blew and the girls had punched their ticket into the finals.

The final game was a battle between the two teams who tied each other in the regular season, and who had finished as co-champions as well. Fusion found themselves down 3-1 at halftime. "The game started out with the other team just wanting it a bit more than us", states Coach Mitchell. "We knew it was going to be a tough match and were not surprised at how well they played that first half. At halftime we talked about not quitting and going out for the next 25 minutes giving it our all. We put some pressure on them in front of their own goal and were able to get it tied up with plenty of time left to play. Once we tied it up you could see the momentum shift and I was so proud of how all of our girls fought through the heat and being tired, and left it all out there on the field. They deserved everything they got this session, especially for as much hard work as they have put in at training and during the regular season. Loved being able to have a front row seat and witness their success".

The Fusion U10 girls finished the session with a record of 8-0-2 and were the regular season co-champions & playoff champions. Well done girls!
