U10 Boys Win It All!

On Saturday, June 6th, the Fusion U10 boys completed the spring session as the regular season & playoff champions.

The boys started off the day with a win in their first game and put themselves into the championship game. With no subs and the temps rising later that day, the boys faced a tough challenge. Just as they did all session, the boys faced the challenge head on and gave everything they had. "I knew we would need to get off to a quick start in the game and then try to conserve energy having no subs and dealing with the heat" stated Coach Mitchell. "Our forwards did a great job in combining with each other and we were able to get three goals in that first half. Doug Sanor was huge for us in goal that first half too. He came up with some big saves to give us a chance to go up 3-0. I was very proud of all of the boys and was excited to see them push through and battle some adversity after the other team tied the score in the second half. They didn't quit and were rewarded for their efforts with a 5-3 win."

The Fusion U10 boys finished the season with a record of 9-0-1. Great job boys!
