Business as Usual for the U10 Girls

It was a great opening game for the U10 Girls as they traveled to Rootstown for the their first game of the Spring.

The weather was perfect and the girls played with maximum effort until the final whistle blew.  Fusion took control of the game early, but found themselves a goal down mid way through the first half.  Continuing to possess the ball and work it side-to-side, Fusion equalized when Sophia Redd found the back of the net just before the halftime whistle blew.

Just as they did in the first half Fusion dominated possession and were rewarded twice when Hannah Pachan tucked away her two goals.

"Overall I was really pleased with how the girls played", Coach Mitchell stated. "I  think our hard work in the winter training's and the girls' effort to learn and understand what possession soccer is, definitely showed itself in today's match. We still have a ton more to work on, but we are moving in the right direction."

The Fusion girls will be on the road again this Thursday, 6:30 pm, at Ravenna.
