Ball Mastery, Soccer-Specific Coordination, Individual Tactics and Small-Group Concepts.

The U10 academy structure ensures that players receive a variety of individualized instruction from our professional coaching staff. The academy provides players with a technical foundation that builds confidence in a social environment. Through the spring season, players train two times per week in an academy format and are then placed into specific teams for the fall. During the fall season, players train twice per week as a team and once in an academy format. The two team sessions focus on individual tactical decision making, small-group concepts, and basic role development in the FUSION system of play (7v7):1-2-3-1 

U10 teams focus on developing a FUSION style of play: control, creative synergy, and esteem. In the final year of the “Discovery Stage,” players have acquired a technical skill set that is becoming evident in games. As they round out the final steps in this first stage on the FUSION player path, their individual skill is celebrated.
