  3. a.     Any returning manager wanting to retain his/her position for the team he/she managed the previous year shall have the right to continue managing subject to SSLL Board of Directors approval;
  4. b.       Any returning or new manager may select his/her coaches (maximum of 2) and is encouraged to retain coaches who served as his/her coaches the previous year or to select coaches who are parents of players on their team (this ability to select coaches does not affect the player selection process – see the Player Selection Process Rules);
  5. c.        Except in the Juniors Division, parents of any player on a team in need of a new manager shall be considered to manage so long as they demonstrate to the Coaching Coordinator(s) and Competition Committee reasonable competence to perform such duties and receive approval by the SSLL Board of Directors.

  1. 4.       The SSLL Board of Directors is encouraged to develop and implement a confidential, on-line manager/coach evaluation process in order to monitor managing/coaching competence and compliance with the mission of SSLL.
