The Fusion U10 Girls Maroon team played in the SF Golden Gate International Tournament over the Labor Day weekend.
The team faced opponents from all around San Francisco as well as Nevada.
After a scoreless game on Saturday morning, the girls came back strong in the afternoon with a dominating 6-0 victory. Incredibly, Abigail Aranas scored a hat trick within the first 7 minutes of the game! Eden Kokelaar, Ellie Cowan, and Abigel Nemethy each contributed a goal.
Sunday morning’s 4-0 loss to the SF Aftershocks didn’t dampen the girl’s spirits. Their hard work, great skills, and teamwork earned them a 3rd place tournament finish.
