Newport Mesa 12U take 3rd in Districts!

Behind stellar pitching performances by Ryan Cohen and Madison Lee, the 12U All Stars are headed to Lancaster to compete for the State Championships.

Great defense and constant hitting, the girls battled against the likes of Mission Viejo (W 15-2), San Clemente (W 14-5) and Fountain Valley (W 10-8), on their way to an eventual elimination loss at the hands of Buena Park in the semi-finals.

We are so proud of this group of girls who have worked so hard to raise the level of their play over the past year.  Regardless of what happens in Lancaster July 1-3, this team has represented NMGS to the fullest and have all our admiration and love.

Way to go girls!
