Centerville Recreational Soccer League Code of Conduct:
The goal of the Centerville United Soccer Association (“CUSA”) and the Centerville Recreational Soccer League is to maximize the opportunity for each registered player to enjoy the game of soccer, to learn and display sportsmanship, and to develop individual and team skills. In pursuit of that goal, the principles set forth below reflect our Code of Conduct and shall apply to our coaches, players, and parents (or guardians) as well as any other participants in CUSA and the Centerville Recreational Soccer League activities.
As a member of the CUSA and the Centerville Recreational Soccer League your actions on and off the field are viewed as representative of the entire program. Actions detrimental to the integrity of CUSA and the Centerville Recreational Soccer League will not be tolerated. All players, parents, coaches and other representatives of CUSA and the Centerville Recreational Soccer League are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner that will reflect the high standards and ideals of their team and community.
The Code of Conduct is not limited to the principles enumerated below; any conduct that undermines the goal and purpose of CUSA and the Centerville Recreational Soccer League may be deemed a violation of this Code of Conduct. If issues arise that are not covered in the CUSA and the Centerville Recreational Soccer League, the issue will be handled at the discretion of the CUSA Recreational Soccer Board of Directors.
If any player, coach, parent, guardian, or other participant in a CUSA and Centerville Recreational Soccer League activity perceives that this Code of Conduct has been violated, they have the right and responsibility to report the perceived violation to any member or representative of the CUSA or the Centerville Recreational Soccer League Board for investigation.
It is the responsibility of the players, parents, and coaches to read, understand, and acknowledge the contents of this document. We support an open dialogue with the parents of our organization to ensure these guidelines are followed.
