Red Skittles Bring The Heat on a Penalty Kick

[BLACKSBURG, VA] Blizzard FC suffered their first loss of the season in a close game on a penalty kick 0-1. Both teams were evenly matched, with strong offensive work by Blizzard FC equally countered by a stingy Red Skittle defense (Team Webster).

In a tight game that produced zero offensive goals, the only score came against The Blizzard in a third period penalty kick. The coaches were proud of the way the team played - gritty and determined.

Practice this week will focus on space (i.e. not crowding the ball), passing, kickoffs, throw-ins, and improving outside shots on goal.
