Rosalyn Ritchie - Vice President of Operations

My name is Rosalyn Ritchie and I am running for Vice President of Operations.

I previously served as RYFA president and VP of Cheer.  I have three children that have all grown up as part of the RYFA family.    As my children were involved in the program, I became part of RYFA’s leadership. I saw areas that needed assistance, so I joined in. I didn’t want to be a parent that only came to the field, saw things that needed to be done and complained. I wanted to be a part of the team to build and maintain a strong program.  I feel as though I have achieved that.

My RYFA Resume
1998 - 1st Year Cheer Parent
1999 to 2004 - Cheer Team Mom
2006 to 2007 - Cheer Team Mom
2008 to 2012 - Vice President of Cheer and Cheer Coach
2009 to 2012 -UYFC/YFA Conference Cheer Director
2013 to 2014 -RYFA President and Cheer Coach
2015 - 8U Cheer Coach

After being a part of RYFA for 17 years, I thought I could walk away once my last child aged out, but RYFA is my heart. So I came back and currently am serving as the 8U cheer coach. I am dedicate to watching this program continue to grow and flourish.  There are areas that we can improve upon; we have a lot of work that needs to be done.   I have no problem getting my hands dirty and filling in wherever needed to accomplish RYFA's goals.

Terri James - Secretary

I am Terri James and a candidate for the position of Secretary on the RYFA Executive Board.

I have been a RYFA member for 7 years and have served as one of the Team Parent Directors for the past 4 years. I have also served as Assistant Cheer Director.

I first joined RYFA years ago when my son played football and then my daughter, Caitlyn, became a RYFA cheerleader. Today, she remains a part of the RYFA family and now serves as assistant coach to the 12U cheerleaders.

My passion for RYFA makes it easy for me to put in many long hours year-round volunteering.  You may find me at the field on any given day filling in and doing many different tasks when the occasion arises which ranges from filling orders at the concession stand and taking photos to registering players, taking payments and passing out football equipment.

I am a dedicated RYFA member who will gladly pitch in wherever needed.  I was born and raised in Rockdale County so I have a sincere interest in seeing that the children in Rockdale County have a good experience in youth sports.  I now see a need for even more help at RYFA and I am not afraid to help out.

Rather than just hold a title, I am willing to volunteer my time and put the work in. I would love to have your vote. So, vote for me, Terri James for RYFA Secretary.

Lisa Jones - Secretary

Current Secretary
