Good Evening Rangers Parents,
We had another good practice yesterday despite the weather conditions. Our focus was throwing progression and defensive responsibilities. We would like the kids to try and spend time throughout the week throwing on their own, concentrating on making good, accurate throws.
The kids also decided that their team name will be the Rangers. Go Rangers!
I want to again remind everyone that there are practices every Sunday from 1pm-3pm for the entire Majors division. These are optional however, I strongly encourage everyone to attend. Today's practice was hosted by the Orange Team and focused on hitting. Thank you to Riley Belanger for attending. You did a great job and I hope you found it beneficial.
A couple housekeeping items and reminders:
Attendance:
Commitment and dedication is very important. I expect family to come first, followed by school and then the team. If your child will not be at practice or cannot make it to a game please let me know ASAP (24 hours prior would be ideal). Attendance will be a factor when considering playing time.

Schedule:
I previously sent a link to the schedule that can be viewed through Google Calendar. The schedule can also be viewed on the gnglittleleague.com website under our team section. Please let me know if you are unable to view or find the schedule through Google or on the website. I will email the team directly should we have any changes to the schedule as I do plan to add practices.
Uniforms:
Uniforms were passed out at last Wednesdays practice. If you did not receive a shirt, pants, socks, belt or hat please let me know before 4pm tomorrow. Additionally, if there are size issues with any of the items, please let me know before 4pm tomorrow.
Important Dates (through May 4):
- 4/28 - GAME 6pm @ Douglas Field (Gray) - Please have your player ready to take the field at 5:20pm. If you have size issues or need a uniform item please take this into consideration and arrive earlier.
- 5/1 - PRACTICE 6pm-7:30pm @ Penny Road Field (New Gloucester) - Please have your player ready to take the field at 6pm.
- 5/3 - Opening Day/Picture Day/Game - All players must be at the Middle School and with their team by8:15am. Team Pictures will be held at 12:30pm for Majors (players must be with their team by12:15pm) at the Middle School. Picture information was handed out at practice on Saturday. If you did not receive it please let me know. Game at 2pm at Penny Road Field (New Gloucester). Please have your player ready to take the field at 1:20pm.
As we continue the season with unpredictable weather, assume that practices/games will be held until you receive a cancellation notice.
Please respond to this email with cell number(s) that I can notify via text if practice/games are cancelled.
