A great achievement by our young players was made all the better by the fact that the team played very exciting soccer over the four matches. This made for a very entertaining couple of days. In what was another very hot weekend the players were able to compete very well over the four games and take first place against good competition.

After a difficult first match, which actually saw us drop three points, we showed great courage to bounce back and take maxim points during the two games that followed. The back to back wins saw our boys sitting at the top of the table and into the final match against the number seed for the group across from us.

Coach Morris said "The final match was one of the most exciting matches I ever coached. It had everything, goals, amazing goal lines clearances, taking a two goal lead, giving up a two goal lead, and then going all the way to PK number eight. It was a complete roller coaster that thankfully saw us come out on top. The boys fully deserved the win, their level of soccer was good all weekend and I felt we were the better team in every game we played. It was a great way to end what has been a very long season.
