Patriots Proud, as Season Ends in Section Finals

Last night's semi-final sectional match was more than just a match for the girls of Wootton. After their well-documented emotional PK victory over the three seed Richard Montgomery followed by another victory in PKs against two seed Clarksburg, Wootton's run came to an end 1-0 against one seed QO. The end though is only an end to a soccer season. It hardly encapsulates what this remarkable squad is capable of when faced with adversity at any level. The only shame in falling short last night is that it is a shame they cannot continue to show what a squad can do despite all they have had to overcome.
