Week #1

Well, week one is in the books. I was really proud of all the boys this past Saturday. None of them gave up, and played their hearts out. Most of the goals scored against us were preventable as we need to work on a few things a tad more in practice. They played well, and shouldn't get down on themselves. We will concentrate this week on getting the goal keepers to learn how to punt deeper, and also teach the defense clearing the ball. Also, I think I might change up our formation a little bit to help us defensively. I will bring a formation sheet I can hand out to visually show the kids where each position is, as well as where the others should be when they move to different positions.
