The soccer tots program focuses on gross motor skills through soccer-based games. The aim is to help develop each child physically, psychologically, and socially while creating a fun learning environment. Parents are encouraged to join and help their children during the lessons.

U4-U9 Soccer Stars (Registration opens by October 20th)
GJSC is excited to introduce a new format for our soccer stars clinic. These clinics will be run by staff coaches from the club at our new indoor field. They will be one hour long and will mainly focus on dribbling skills, balance and coordination, passing and receiving, and some small sided games. The sessions will be age appropriate and much of what is taught will be done through fun games. The main focus will be for the kids to have some fun, get some exercise and hopefully leave the program wanting to play more soccer.
Take a look at the table below, pick a time slot that works for you and corresponds with your child’s age group. We will offer two sessions of Soccer Stars this winter.

Rec Winter Indoor 4v4 Soccer League (Registration opens by October 20th)
Games Start on 1/9/21
U5/8 Saturdays at 4:30 PM
U9/10 Saturdays at 5:30 PM
U11/14 Saturdays at 6:30 PM
Indoor Rules:
1. Only players will be allowed in the building for all programs (no parents in the building)
2. Players need to wear a mask in and out of the building.
3. Players must social distance.
4. We will not have players wear masks when playing and they social distance as much as possible.
5. We will work on individual skills and there will be some game activities where players come in contact occasionally.
* 4v4 for elementary age kids will be normal soccer with some contact.
6. Coaches and referees will wear masks.
7. We would like players to wash their hands prior to coming to soccer and we will have hand washing areas and hand sanitizer available.
8. All players, for every program will be asked to sign our assumption of risk waiver.
Divisions – u5/u6, u7/u8, u9/u10, u11/u12, u13/u14, We may adjust ages if needed to create good competition. Most likely boys and girls will play against each other at the younger ages. Our primary focus will be creating competitive divisions.
Shin guards required. NO CLEATS, Indoor shoes or regular tennis shoes are OK
Comfortable clothing, Our STAFF coaches will act as coach/referee and
provide pennies for the teams to wear. NO GUM PLEASE.

Fire FC is excited to let you know that we will have a Winter Indoor Soccer League at our Indoor Soccer Field. The format for this league will be 4v4. Kids will register as individuals. You can request a friend to play with and we will do our best to honor that request. You can request a team, but the competitive coach of your team may decide how she/he wants teams divided to benefit the most kids (to get the most kids playing, to create 2-3 even teams (instead of one super team), to help with team chemistry once on the big field.
There will be room for 20 teams, with approximately 6 players per team, so if interested register early.
This league will play mostly on Saturdays.
Game Length – 50 Minute games (2 x 25 plus 5 min half time)
Cost - $80 per player to register. Teams should have between 6 and 7 players.
Number of games – 7 games.

Fast Footwork Program (Registration opens by October 20th)
This program is for competitive players only. This program will be focused on improving each participant’s mastery of the ball. Players will basically go through a routine each week, which they can easily duplicate at home. The focus will be repetition of techniques that players use all the time in games. Players will leave the program more comfortable with the ball at their feet and hopefully willing and able to try the techniques in the game. In my opinion, ball mastery skills are the best way to encourage creativity and moves in the game. Once players do the skill often enough, it begins to happen without thinking in competition.

The focus of the training will be individual technique (dribbling skills, being creative, receiving, passing, etc.) to help players become a more confident player.

Fire FC’s U9-U10 Player Development Program (PDP) is part of the third phase of our long-term development model for our youth soccer players. PDP is an optional program that is open to any player who loves to play soccer and wants to put in the effort to learn and get better.
It's an additional training opportunity for players that have developed a passion for the game at a young age and want to start developing under Fire FC staff direction. We believe this is a fantastic program for those players looking for something more. Regardless of whether your child is interested in playing competitive soccer at U11, if they're keen to improve their skills or if they simply love the game and want to continue to play soccer through the winter months, while doing so in a fun and engaging environment, this is the program for them. Individual skills will still be the primary focus but players can now begin to surround themselves with players who have the same passion for soccer!
Winter PDP focuses very much on the individual development of the player. They will get valuable touches on the ball through the winter months, get extra practice on mastering already known moves along with the learning of new moves, plenty of 1v1 scenarios for tonnes of repetition and lots of activities to goal. All of these are fundamental to the development of a confident player who is comfortable on the ball.

7/8 PDP Winter Skills (Registration opens by October 20th)
This winter program will offered one day a week, on Sunday's. This will be 7 weeks of additional training. The intent of the 7/8 PDP is to put players in a competitive, age appropriate training environment that challenges them physically and mentally. The program is open to any player who are U7 or U8 and who have the desire to further develop their soccer skills under the guidance of a professional coach, who is following the club developmental curriculum.
Training's will be Sundays 9am-10am at the Fire FC Field House (2791 Printers Court) priced at $90 for 7 sessions.

Cost - $150.00 per player.
Each group will train one time a week on the full field and have one game per session a week.
