First Win on Opening Day!

The Girls of Team Hernandez took home a huge win on Saturday, coming out of the gate strong and never letting up, playing as a team the whole way to win 11-1! Wow!

On offense, the girls focused on passing to let others get goals after a small lead was gained. On defense, the team did not want to allow any goals, but the one that did get by was earned. Team Hernandez hustled, and they were aggressive. It was obvious they have team players and that it made the game fun for them! We saw some definite skills, and the coaches have more insight on what to work with who on, and what to work with the whole team on.

There was no way to know they would do this well first game, but next game could be much more difficult so the coaches will no doubt be looking at more ball control and skill development in the next practice.

Everyone worked hard. They deserved their win. Go Team Hernandez!

Rumor has it they want to come up with another team name, such as Sparkles or such... we'll find out Wednesday after a good (fun) practice!
