Registration Information

Registration for the 2017 season is CLOSED. Please check back for the 2018 details towards the end of 2017. Or better yet, sign up for our mailing list to receive the latest Sheldon Little League information as it is posted.

2017 Registration Information

Player Evaluations 

Updated: Evaluations will be required for all AAA players and up. If you are interested in your son/daughter playing outside of the division listed below for their age then they will also need to come to evaluations. Evaluations will be held on March 4. We will send a schedule for the day in late February. Please contact us at sheldonlittleleague97408@gmail.com if you have questions.


Divisions/Age Information

Juniors Baseball - boys 12-14 years old ($185)
50-70 Baseball - boys 11-13 years old ($185)
Majors Baseball/Softball - 10-12 years old ($185)
AAA Baseball/Softball - player pitch 9-11 years old ($185)
AA Baseball/Softball  - machine pitch/player pitch combo 8-9 years old ($150)
A Baseball/Softball  - machine pitch 6-8 years old ($150)
Tee ball - co-ed 4-6 years old ($110)
** All registrations will include also have two required fees: $10 for Closing Ceremonies ticket at PK Park and $5 processing fee.

The players' age is determined by the official Little League 2017 age chart

What Division Should My Child Play?

Single A- a developmental league for youth that are 6-8 years old. Youth will be evaluated by there coach to make certain this level is right for them. Machine pitch only. Youth recommended to have played at least one year of baseball....not required
 
Double A- a developmental league for youth ages 8-9 years old. Youth will be evaluated by their coach or can attend "player evaluations" to make certain this is the right level for them. Machine pitch league to start the season with a transition to Player pitch towards the end of the year. Youth recommended to have played at least two years of baseball...not required
 
Triple A- a developmental league for youth ages 9-11, with a focus to prepare them the next level, Majors, a competitive league. Youth are required to go through Player Evaluations for placement in this league.  Youth competition in this level may qualify for post-season play. 

Eligibility Information

To register and participate in a local Little League®, the child must legally reside within the boundaries of that League and be “League Age” to participate in the current season.  Proof of date of birth (viewing of an original or certified copy of their government-issued birth certificate) and residence (three varied proof of residence documents such as a drivers' license, vehicle registration and utility bill) are required viewing prior to a child participating.  All volunteers working directly with the children are required to complete a Volunteer Application and show a government-issued photo i.d. for a Background and Sex Offender Registry Check through Lexis/Nexis® and Little League®.   Most leagues hold registrations on specific dates in late January through mid-March. Little League ® does not limit participation in its activities on the basis of disability, race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual preference, or religious prefernce...and will not turn any child away for lack of limited funds.

Boundary Information

  • Beginning at the Ferry Street Bridge, follow the Willamette River (which serves as the boundary between the North Eugene and Sheldon High Schools as described by Lane County 4J School District), north to the Benton-Lane-Linn County Boundary.
  • Follow the Linn-Benton County Line north to Diamond Hill Drive
  • Head east on Diamond Hill Drive to the base of the Coburg Hills
  • Head south along the Coburg Hills to the County Line, then east to next county line juncture. 
  • South direct to McKenzie View Drive (residences on either side of McKenzie View Drive are in Thurston Little League boundaries)
  • South and west along McKenzie View Drive to Interstate 5
  • South on I-5 until it intersects with the Willamette River
  • Follow the Willamette River to the Ferry Street Bridge.

League is determined by Street Address; approximate population in boundaries is 34,500. The boundary encompasses zip codes 97401 (part of); 97408, 97448, 97446.  The primary high school boundaries encompassed are Sheldon and Harrisburg
