Tornadoes in the News!
In early February Coach Cherry, Hobby and Madison grabbed players from both Fusion and Tornadoes and joined a 12U Winter Indoor Softball League at World Wide of Indoor Sports in Smithfield, RI. The league consisted of Franklin and 3 club teams, playing either 1 or 2 games on Sunday mornings.
The girls completed the season with a record of 8-3 winning the last 6 games and the championship on Sun 3/23. This was truly an outstanding experience for the girls as they gained critical "gametime" experience. Said Coach Cherry, "Given the tremendous success of the program we will definitely be back next year to defend our championship!"
