Soccer Academy students, Memphis Parker and Nico Diaz were invited to attend the 2017 U17 Generations Adidas Cup Finals for Orlando City. All their hard work is paying off.

Here is what our students had to say about this great opportunity:

Memphis Parker- “My first time competing in Dallas was the Supercopa at U11. I have since competed in the past two Dallas Cups. We always went to watch the Generation Adidas and I visioned myself competing in it one day. I never dreamt it would be at 14 years old. I am looking forward to the challenge and representing my club, Orlando City, and all the coaches who have invested in me over the years.”

Nico Diaz –” Well, I feel very privileged to have an opportunity to play at such a big event. It's a great feeling to know that hard work really does pay off. I have worked extremely hard to earn this spot. Just 3-4 months ago, my coach said that I didn't work hard enough, and that's when I woke up. I have trained and played 10 times harder than I thought I was capable of, because I wanted to prove him wrong, and I wanted to push my self to levels of intensity I didn't think possible. I have no intention of stopping that grind after this event or ever, this is my second wake up call to work even harder.”
