Peter has worked with a variety of age groups and has spent a few years working directly and successfully with our Academy-aged players. His enthusiasm for the game, and his desire to teach and to continue his own learning along the way is contagious, and he brings an energy and vibrancy which will surely invigorate our Academy membership and spread through our Club. 

Peter graduated in 2000 from the highly esteemed Notre Dame University with a BA in Sociology. While at Notre Dame, he was a varsity soccer player for the Men's Fighting Irish team and went on to work and live in Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA, and San Diego, CA where he eventually settled until his arrival in Blacksburg in 2019 with his wife Cara, and their three kids, Daniel, James, and Kayla. 

Peter has continued his coaching development by attending numerous coaching clinics and seminars throughout the years and holds a USSF E License. His methodology is based on the Coerver based training model and approach is highly based on age appropriate psychology and keeping it fun yet competitive while learning the fundamentals.
