Just a reminder about our 1st practice on Thurs evening.

We will be practicing at the Field Elementary School (Haggety Rd just south of Cherry Hill) , from 6 pm - 7 pm. Try to be at the practice field 15 min early (5:45 pm) so that we can hand out the remining jersey and fit the flag belts.

My 1st priority is to work on the very basic elements to run a clean offensive play
   - CTR snap (must be through the legs)
   - CTR x QB exchange (no drops)
   - QB handoff position (both fakes and real)
   - RB arm positons (to take handoff w/out dropping)
   - QB x RB exchange (no drops)
   - RB running routes
This may seem like trivial items, but in a game situation any one of these items can prevent us from even getting off our plays

My second prioity is to go over our defense positions and how to move w/in our zone coverage
   - Dividing up the field into zones
   - Staying in our positions (not getting drawn out of position)
   - Forming defensive "boxes" around the ball carrier and collapsing to get the flags

And if we have time, I'd like to look at how we would fare throwing the ball
   - I don't expect to be ready to throw in this 1st game, but if we're ready I'd like to include some passing plays in the playbook

Also don't forget the following items for the practice:
   - Mouthguards
   - Flag belts (if you already have)
   - Parents pledge / parents code of conduct / Waiver forms
   - Cleates (not must, but recomended)
