Fall Season Success for UFA Lumpkin U10G!

In just their second season playing together as a team, our UFA Lumpkin U10 Girls, coached by Anthony Tatum, made significant strides. The team played a tougher schedule this Fall and went on to finish the season with an impressive 6-4 record.

The girls stayed strong and were up for a great challenge at the season ending UFA Fall Classic. "The girls did the unexpected and beat two very good teams - Concorde Fire 2-1 and SSA 3-2. In the SSA game, the team was down 2-0 at the half. The girls gave it all that they had and came back to upset a very good team."

The team was leading their bracket in points and should have played for the tournament Championship. Mother Nature had other plans. The balance of the tournament wound up being cancelled due weather.

Scoring goals in the tournament were Morgan T., Averie J., Mary M. and Nicole L.. Goal keepers Maddie D. and Brianna J. both played great and made numerous saves. Our defenders, Cierra B., Mary R., Liz W. and Andrea L. stepped up as well.

"I am so proud of all of the players. They have gone beyond the expected!"
