We need over 70 coaches and assistant coaches for the Fall 2016 Season.  Training sessions begin the week of September 5 and final matches are scheduled for November 12.  Volunteers are what keep AYSO Region 1521 so affordable.  Prior coaching or playing experience is not required.  Training and coach equipment is provided for FREE.  If you are interested in becoming a youth soccer coach for your local AYSO, please contact Ken Holowecky, Region 1521 Coach Administrator, at [email protected].

Coach Requirement:  Attend an age appropriate coach clinic, devote (2) days a week for (1) hour training sessions and (1) match per week on Saturdays beginning September 24.  (In an effort to further increase your knowledge and understanding of the game, it is also HIGHLY recommended that you also attend an AYSO referee clinic when available in our area. Our best and longest tenured coaches have become certified referees and assist their co-coaches by reffing matches each Saturday.)

**All scheduled clinics in Loxahatchee will be held at the Samuel Friedland Park Press Box near the rear of the park by the baseball fields.  SF Park is located at 18500 Hamlin Blvd, Loxahatchee. 

 

Please be sure to go to www.easyo.org prior to attending the clinic and register for the course.  All attendees should come in shorts and tennis shoes or cleats (no sandals) as we will be doing drills outside.  All attendees should have completed the on-line volunteer application (required annually for all volunteers) prior to attending a clinic.  Teams can not be assigned until the coach has completed the application.
