Nationals sieze victory 10-6 against HVBSA#1(Muckdogs)

After seven lead changes in Saturday's game at Lake Park Field #3, the LBSA 12U Nationals finally pulled out a 10-6 win over HVBSA#1.

The LBSA 12U Nationals finally managed to grab the lead after a strong second inning. A passed ball scored Aaron Guevara to give the LBSA 12U Nationals the lead for good.

Lee Kayea racked up three RBIs on one hit for the LBSA 12U Nationals. He doubled in the first inning.

Even though Aaron Flanigan allowed six runs over three innings he still recorded the victory. He struck out four, walked four and surrendered four hits.

Jayden Scott took the loss for HVBSA#1. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed no runs.

LBSA 12U Nationals closer Ashton Ferguson put away the final six outs to record the save.

In the top of the first, HVBSA#1 grabbed the early lead, 3-0. A single by Jayden, plating Paco Varona started the inning off. HVBSA#1 added more runs when M scored on a groundout by Luke Grimes and S scored on a wild pitch.

The LBSA 12U Nationals survived HVBSA#1's surge and put up four runs of their own in the first. The LBSA 12U Nationals scored on a two-run double by Lee, a passed ball, and a wild pitch.

A key second-inning rally gave the LBSA 12U Nationals the lead for good. the LBSA 12U Nationals tacked on a total of five runs on.

One run in the top of the third helped HVBSA#1 close its deficit to 9-6. An error fueled HVBSA#1's comeback. Finally, Aaron got Dante Barino to strike out to end the threat.
