Quick update

My name is Patrick Larkin and I will be head coach and Erica Barilla will be the Assistant Coach for our team this Fall Season.  I have five children and am also known as Max's Dad. I have been teaching soccer since my oldest (now 13) was 5 and have four children in our family in CYSA soccer.

The season starts for our U6 Team on Saturday, September 17th.  The program will run for 8 sessions. We will have soccer on Columbus Day weekend. If soccer is cancelled due to inclement weather, we will try to make it up, but there are no guarantees that cancelled sessions will be made up. CYSA determines any makeup sessions, as well as any cancellations due to inclement weather.

Our team will meet once a week on the Harrington field on Richardson Rd. and will run from 9-10am.  We will always be at the same location each Saturday.  In addition to the coaches, there will also be Global Premier Soccer professional coaches facilitating each session and providing direction and guidance to all the volunteer coaches. Your soccer player should have shin pads and sneakers or cleats, and he/she will need to wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle.

CYSA also asks players not to wear jewelry and that you do not bring your dogs to the soccer field.  Soccer is not a drop-off activity, so its expected that adults stay during the sessions.

Please keep in mind that although we are actively teaching the children the game of soccer, the focus of our teaching is FUN! We want the children to have fun, develop a love for the game, and continue to want to play soccer in the future.
I will update this page again with more information as I receive it.  I am looking forward to meeting you all soon.
