2018 Maryland Rush
Winter Fitness Training
What
Maryland Rush Soccer Club is offering a supervised
winter fitness training program beginning Monday, January 15, 2018 at
the Pip Moyer Recreation Center, in Annapolis. This will be for any player in
age groups U13 and older.
The program will be run by Maryland Rush Technical Director, Steve Senna.
Participating players are asked to be onsite and meet in the track area,
dressed and ready to run at the appropriate session start time for their age
group (see below).
When
Every Monday and Wednesday, beginning Monday, January 15, 2018.
Session 1: For Age Groups U13 & U14, 6 – 7 PM
Session 2: For Age Groups U15 – U18, 7 – 8 PM
The program will include cardio (running) to build endurance
and strength for the fitness demands of the game, as well as calisthenics, intended
to increase body strength, body fitness, and flexibility.
The supervised fitness sessions will last approximately one
(1) hour.
Cost
There is no fee to Maryland Rush, however, to access the Pip Moyer
Recreation Center, there is a fee. Fees are based on residency. See the
